Another new venture - doulas are always reinventing themselves as they discover different needs for new parents - doulaing your newborn at your own, your sisters or your best friends' wedding!

It all started when I was asked by my client to look after her very young baby so that she could fulfill her duties as a bridesmaid....and it worked!  She was able to attend the whole service, listen to all the speeches, eat the wedding breakfast in peace and even have a boogie in the evening!  And she was breastfeeding.  All it took was careful planning, visits to her baby for feeds, and lots of cuddles and care from me.

My baby was 4 weeks when my sister got married and it was really important to me that I could support her as well as enjoy the wedding and party. We hired Carla for 24 hours to look after our baby. Obviously we have to be on site for ease of access but we're very good at hiding away in warm quiet rooms so its easy for you and your baby!
